NRB Is Here!

It's that time of year again. NRB 2011 arrives in Nashville. At the ginormous Gaylord Opryland Hotel.

Do you have your GPS ready? Have you downloaded your NRB 2011 app? (I hear they have one this year for your iPhone or iPad. Don't forget Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja just in case things get slow.)

Are you ready to hear what Speaker of the House John Boehner has to say? I sure am. I think. Actually, I have no idea what he's going to say. Maybe something about the Performance Tax? If I don't agree, can I boo him? Or I'll just take some notes and share my opinions at a late date. (Next week, same time, same place perhaps?)

No, really. This should be a great weekend (do I get make-up days next week to sleep in and do my chores?). There are plenty of good speakers and sessions lined up, at least on paper. And the music line-up seems somewhat compelling, if I last that long.

Mostly I'm just going to hear Speaker Boehner. And to check out the newly re-opened Opryland Hotel. Is that wrong?
