Nope.
Format. Think outside your format.
Are you digesting what other stations are doing? Not only outside your market but outside your format?
If not, you should be.
And why? Well for one, you can imitate, change and even create new ideas based on what others are doing. Plus it's a cheap way to research new ideas for those of us with small staffs.
It's easy to stay up-to-date with other formats, thanks to free e-mail lists and websites that provide content on a daily, sometimes hourly, basis. For goodness sake, you do notice that All Access has other formats available along the top of the page, don't you?!
This seems like a little thing but it's the little things that can make the biggest impact.
