All the Little Holidays

The day after Thanksgiving brings out all the songs about Christmas bells and sleigh rides and Baby Jesus in a manger on radio stations across the country. And not just even Christian stations, mind you, but in various radio formats.
At Easter, and most definitely solely on Christian stations, one will hear songs about the Resurrection and that blessed morning. Cool.
Then we get all the "little" holidays: Mother's Day, Father's Day, the Fourth of July. Songs pop up that are appropriate to the day and go along with promotions for the holiday. Then they're gone.
How much attention do you pay to all the little holidays? Could you make more of it? Do you make too much of it? Should everyday be Mother's Day or Father's Day or Independence Day? Just like, shouldn't everyday be Easter or Christmas?
Does Hallmark sponsor radio?
