Summer Job

Businesses are practically begging students to work this summer.

The world is getting used to long lines, wait times, shipping delays, un-stocked shelves, and restaurants that are now only open for dinner. Surveys show that a good percentage of fast food workers are mothers, so perhaps there is a carpool opportunity? Okay maybe not, but after-school and summer jobs is a fun topic.

I was a lifeguard and a babysitter, I worked at Wendy's, then at the The Gap. I was a waitress, bartender, summer camp theater choreographer, and flipped pancakes at The Minnesota State fair Pancake House (not necessarily in this order).

Once I took a summer internship at a radio station, I never looked back.
