Run, Don’t Walk To NRB

Two of the three in-person conferences that I attended in 2021 (the rest were canceled) were Christian Media conferences. While those shows were well attended, they were muted to be sure.
2022 looks to be much the same - CES drew 30% of its normal attendees, that’s 135,000 people that chose NOT to attend. So, I am calling on all Christian Media Professionals to attend this year's NRB convention in Nashville in March. No, I do not represent NRB in any professional manner, but I have been attending every year since 2016.
It was at NRB that I first discovered “The Conquer Series,” and soon after brought it back to my church for my men’s group to go through.
It was at NRB that I got to look into a bald eagle's burning yellow eyes for the first time, just mere inches away.
It was at NRB that I got to see, first hand, Thomas Jefferson's Bible.
It was at NRB that I got to see the Crucifixion of Jesus reenacted in virtual reality.
And it’s at NRB that I continue to meet media professionals who share the same Great Employer, knowing we have more to talk about than just business. My favorite times are often at the ice cream parlor talking with folks about how we encountered Jesus and how our lives have been forever and continually changed by His blood - and yes, we talk shop too!
So today, I implore you to come out to NRB en masse. If you normally send one person to NRB, then send two; and if you have never gone, then you need to come. The Christian Media industry needs you to come. I need you to come! I need to be reminded that there is hope for our industry, for our country.
I will be there, you can count on it. I’ll be flying our Live365 banner high at booth #711 with our team. Please come and say hi and let's go get some chocolate ice cream with extra hot fudge and whipped cream!
