God Is In The Details, And You Should Be Too

Psalm 37:23 says, “The Lord directs the steps of the Godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.”
It’s amazing to look back on your life to see how God used every single detail to lead you to where you are now. Even those details that didn’t seem necessary at the time were used for a much greater picture. Because He loves you and because He cares about you, He gives you the tools you need to succeed. Even when you don’t see it, He is working.
The smallest pinhole at the bottom of the biggest ship can sink the entire ship.
As a leader, I would argue that one of your greatest responsibilities is to be detailed no matter how small the circumstance. As an artist manager, it’s extremely important for me to look for those missing details or the ones that need a little TLC because it could mean the rise or fall of the ministry, business, or career.
Trust is the most important detail of all.
Being in leadership means that you’re being entrusted to take care of tasks on a much deeper level. Sometimes that means working very long days to get the job done. Learning to be efficient and effective by blocking out distractions and having laser beam focus on what needs to be done next is critical. Staying structured, planning the day; all the while, needing to remain flexible for the surprises that come with the industry, is an understatement. After all, a leader is involved as the gatekeeper, administrator, negotiator and so much more. It’s those attention to details and guarding those good deposits, while also striving for the best interests of your team or client that builds relationships and establishes trust.
2 Timothy 1:14 says, “By the Holy Spirit who dwells within us, guard the good deposit entrusted to you.”
