My, how quickly radio dropped off Pinterest. Almost as quickly as it joined. Jumped in without fully investigating, when as a business, you have the most to lose when you don't actually read those pesky "Terms of Agreement."
Take note of what happened here. Jumping in quickly where your listeners are is smart. You should always be in whatever space your audience spends time-be it city parades, festivals, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
But jumping in without knowing all the details can detrimental to you, your team, and your station.
You need to investigate before committing assets. And that applies not only to the social media world, but also to your on-air components. You can't commit to something only halfway. Fully invest by knowing what you're up against.
Investigation leads to knowledge. Knowledge leads to confidence. And people follow confidence.
