What's Your Perspective?

I can't watch the local news in my town. It's really out of touch with my life. Television news anchors don't have any personality or challenging thoughts anymore; anyone can read the news. The facts, quotes and propaganda they offer are just boring.
As a radio personality, your product is your original thought.Anyone can read a Bible verse in between two songs. That's NOT personality. You have to live your life from a Bible-centered worldview on the air. Get your listeners talking! Your commentary on life from the Bible, culture, relationships, church life, movies and parenting will help shepherd your flock of listeners.
Don't read news. Share what the news is saying and filter it through your Christ-centered worldview. It will deepen your relationship with your listeners and you'll see increased interaction with your show!
Read the status updates on Facebook or Twitter each day. Look at all the different life perspectives stripped down to about two sentences. Talk about great practice to tighten up your breaks.
Your commentary on life is the difference between conversation on the radio and boring news.
