Extra Space

You ever think you have no more love to give? That all of it is gone? That it all has a place or someone or something that it's dedicated to?

But then, out of nowhere, you find extra room, an extra room in your heart to love something new. Something refreshing. Something life changing.

I bet radio was that way for you at some point. At some point you found a love for radio. There came a point where you were connecting the music or the listeners or just being given the chance to be heard. Chills ran through your body when you first spoke on the radio. The moment someone recognized you in public, not by your face, but by your voice.

Oh man. Those were the days.

But I hope you don't lose sight of that. Those that do lose sight, end up hating their jobs, getting so complacent that the work truly isn't stimulating them.

Don't be that person. Remember what you love. Do it with excellence. Enjoy it like it was the first time.
