It’s a busy week, so this will take about 1 minute to read.
Leadership is a 24/7 job. Last week a CEO shared that no one really understands the weight of leadership until the full burden is placed on them. Maybe Thanksgiving weekend is your chance to rest and a chance for someone on your team to grow.
Here are 3 idea starters for you and other leaders on your team to delegate so that you can truly rest, make family memories, watch football, and eat some turkey:
- Put someone in charge of monitoring the station as well as dealing with any facility issues.
- Have an intern respond to social media comments.
- Surprise everyone by giving the entire team the four-day weekend off (yes, even promotions).
HERE’S THE TAKEAWAY
It’s the end of 2021 and nearly two years of living in a stressful world. Some people need rest and others would love an opportunity for more responsibility and a chance to grow. They may not do it as well as you, but what a great weekend to have them try…a weekend where a large percentage of your audience is out of town and disengaged with your radio station.
